Arthur Wright was the son of William Wright 1826-1904 of Bradbourne and his wife nee Sarah Anne Redfern 1834-1904.
He was born on 31 January 1873. In 1891 he was living unmarried at Butts View in Bakewell as an apprentice to his bachelor uncle William Redfern, a retired draper born in Bradbourne (brother of his mother).
In 1901 he was still unmarried, but then living in King Street in Bakewell with four other apprentice drapers.
He died on 14 December 1958 and was buried at Bradbourne.
