Nat Gould

Hannah Gould 1692-1756

Hannah Gould was the fourth and youngest daughter of William Gould 1655-1725 and his wife Mary Hollis 1654-1713.

She was born at Pilsbury Grange in 1692 (modern reckoning) and baptised on 4 February 1692 at Hartington.

On 18 July 1721 she was married at Hartington to Thomas Frogatt 1679-1754. She was then living at her parents' home at Crowdecote. Their children were:

Thomas Frogatt. He was baptised at Hartington on 17 August 1726.
William Frogatt. He was baptised at hartington on 7 July 1731.
Elizabeth Frogatt. She was baptised at Hartington on 24 September 1733 and buried there on 11 January 1735.

The parents were living in Hurdlow when thir children were baptised.

Her husband Thomas Frogatt died in 1754 aged 75 years. He was buried at Hartington on 5 May 1754, and was described in the Register as a gentleman.

Hannah Frogatt died at Tideswell and was buried at Hartington on 28 April 1756.
