Ann Gould was born in 1812 at Sheen in Staffordshire, the daughter of John Gould 1786-1860 of Scaldersitch in Sheen parish and his wife née Jane Alsope 1782-1884.
On 9 September 1841 she was married to John Goodwin 1814-1887 at Sheen. He was born in 1814 at Biddulph in Staffordshire.
They had the following children:
John Goodwin. He was born in 1814 and died in 1887.
John Goodwin. He was born in 1844.
Sarah Goodwin. She was born in 1847.
Joseph Gould Goodwin. He was born in 1849.
Their mother Ann Goodwin née Gould died on 22 August 1894 at Cheadle in Staffordshire.
Her husband had predeceased her on 1 July 1887 at Sheen.
