Nat Gould

Micah Gould 1768-1837

Micah Gould was born in 1768 at Hope in Derbyshire, the son of Richard Gould 1747-1822 and his wife nee Elizabeth Bagshaw.

He moved to Sheffield and became a "flax draper", a dresser of flax to make it suitable for spinning.
He married his cousin Mary Bagshaw.

They had no descendants. Their only child Emmet Gould was born in 1801, died later in the same year, and was buried at Hope on 10 June 1801.

Micah Gould died in October 1837. His wife died in the same year.
