Charles William Bartram 1891-1963

Charles William Bartram was born in 1891 in Manchester, the son of Charles Bartram 1853-1929 and his wife née Hannah Phillips 1860-1930.

He was a painter and decorator.

In 1915 he married Emily Peaker. She was born in 1887 at Beswick in Manchester, the daughter of Henry Peaker 1843-1931 and his wife née Emma Louise Simpson (born in 1846).

Charles William Parker and his wife lived at Reddish near Stockport in Cheshire, and they had a son Cyril Bartram (born 1927), a daughter Gladys Bartram who died on 23 June 1939 (1), and another son.

Charles William Bartram died in 1963 at Stockport.

(1) She was then living at 27 Luton Road in Reddish. The funeral service was to be held at St Elisabeth's church on 28 June 1939: Manchester Evening News 24 June 1939.
