Thomas Bennington was born in about 1701 at Great Fransham, the son of Francis Bennington and his wife nee Martha Beales.
He married Ann Bateman on 24 December 1728 at Shipden, Norfolk. She was born there in April 1704.
Their children were:
Thomas Bennington 1731-1816.
John Bennington. He was born in about February 1732/33 at Wendling in Norfolk.
Mary Bennington. She was born in about August 1734 at Wendling, baptised there on 10 August 1734, and died there on 20 January 1734/35.
