Thomas Bennington 1731-1816

Thomas Bennington was baptised on 18 July 1731 at Wendling in Norfolk. He was the son of Thomas Bennington and his wife nee Ann Bateman.

He married Elizabeth Palmer on 3 November 1754 at Gressenhall in Norfolk. She was born in 1734, died in December 1787 at Gressenhall, and was buried there on 15 December 1787.

Their children were:

Ann Bennington. She was born in about September 1755 at Gressenhall, and baptised there on 29 September 1755. She died in 1788, and was buried there on 8 August 1788.

John Bennington. He was born in about November 1759 at Gressenhall, baptised there on 25 November 1759, and died there on 18 November 1821.

Mary Bennington. She was born in about March 1762 at Gressenhall, and baptised there on 12 March 1762.

Martha Bennington. She was born in about September 1764 at Gressenhall.

Thomas Bennington. He was born in about December 1767 at Gressenhall.

Lydia Bennington. She was born in about January 1771 at Gressenhall, and baptised there on 17 January 1771.

Benjamin Bennington 1773-1822. He was born in about March 1773 at Gressenhall.


Thomas Bennington died on 11 April 1816 at Gressenhall.
