Nat Gould

Peter Wood 1815-1889

Peter Wood was born in 1815 at Longnor in Staffordshire, the son of Thomas Wood 1775-1819 and his wife née Ann Edge 1783-1821, and was baptised there on 5 February 1815.

In 1872 he married Emma Harrison 1834-1909, the daughter of Thomas and Mary Harrison of Longnor. They lived at Town Head in Longnor.

They had a son James Wood born in about 1873 at Longnor. On 2 September 1895 at Alstonefield he married May Redfern, the daughter of Joseph Redfern.

Peter Wood died on 13 July 1889 at Town Head in Longnor.

His Will was proved on 16 September 1889 (1).
