John Bennington born 1768

John Bennington was born in about October 1768 at Gressenhall in Norfolk, and baptised there on 29 October 1768. He was the son of John Bennington and his wife nee Margaret Minns.

He married Elizabeth Sparrow. She was born in 1767 and died on 3 February 1833 at Gressenhall in Norfolk.

Their children (all born at Gressenhall) were:

Thomas Bennington. He was born on 3 May 1789.

Elizabeth Bennington. She was born in about March 1792, and baptised at Gressenhall on 15 March 1792.

Benjamin Bennington. He was born on 22 June 1794, and died on 7 February 1880. He was a carpenter.

James Bennington. He was born on 8 September 1798, and died in July 1865 at Wiggenhall St Mary in Norfolk.
