Nat Gould

Jane Ann Gould 1862-1916

Jane Ann Gould was born in 1862 at Sheen in Staffordshire, the daughter of Robert Gould 1824-1903 and his wife née Ann Slack (born in 1835). Both parents were born in Sheen.

In 1881 she was married to Thomas Wain, presumably at Sheen in Staffordshire. He was born in 1863 at Wetton in Staffordshire, the son of Ralph and Mary Wain.

They had the following children:

Mary Ann Wain. She was born in 1881 at Sheen.

Martha Wain. She was born in 1886 at Sheen.

Sarah Wain 1888-1950. She was born in 1888 at Sheen and died in 1950. On 20 January 1916 she was married to Frederic Thomas Gould 1874-1956 at Sheen. He was born in 1874 at Hartington in Derbyshire, the son of Richard Goodwin Gould 1822-1892 and his wife née Martha Wooddisse 1847-1922.

Jane Wain. She was born in 1890 at Sheen.

Robert T. Wain. He was born in 1903 at Elton in Derbyshire.

Their mother Jane Ann Wain née Gould died in 1916.
