Michael Phillips 1815-1893

Michael Phillips was born in 1815 at Warslow in Staffordshire, the son of Ralph Phillips 1780-1859 and his wife née Eunice Nadin born in 1785. He was baptised at Warslow on 19 February 1815.

He married Anne Swinsco on 22 October 1837 at Hanley in Staffordshire. She was the daughter of Samuel Swinsco.

They lived at Smallthorne, Norton-in-the-Moors in Staffordshire, and had the following children:

Ralph Phillips. He was born in 1840.

John Phillips. He was born in 1845.

Michael Phillips. He was born in 1847.

William Phillips. He was born in 1850.

Their father Michael Phillips died in 1893 aged 76 years.
