Elizabeth Goodwin 1708-1784

Elizabeth Goodwin was the daughter of Richard Goodwin 1679-1763 and his wife née Elizabeth Buxton 1682-1776.

She was baptised on 28 February 1708 at Tissington in Derbyshire. In 1735 she married Francis Berisford. He was baptised on 16 January 1706 at Alstonefield in Staffordshire, and buried on 24 February 1784 at Alsop-en-le-Dale in Derbyshire.

Elizabeth Berisford was buried on 9 November 1784 also at Alsop-en-le-Dale.

They had the following children:

Mary Berisford. She was baptised on 28 January 1733, and married Anthony Bagshaw on 6 December 1760 at Ashbourne in Derbyshire. He was baptised on 1 August 1736, and buried on 6 July 1812. Mary Bagshaw was buried on 11 January 1810 at Alsop-en-le-Dale.

Anthony Berisford. He was baptised in May 1738, and married Anne Rawlins. She was born about 1745, and buried on 5 June 1835. Anthony Berisford was buried on 31 January 1792.

Richard Berisford. He was born about 1745, and buried on 27 February 1801.
