Charles Richard Peake 1830-1903

Charles Richard Peake was born in 1830, the son of Charles Peake 1793-1847 and his wife nee Margaret Watkins. He was baptised on 26 August 1830 at St. Pancras Old Church in London.

He married Eliza Mary Peck in 1861, and they had the following children:

Ada Mary Peake. She was born in 1862 at Ware in Hertfordshire, and was baptised there on 18 June 1862.

Charles William Peake. He was born in 1863 at Tonbridge in Kent. He married Imogen Ivy Knight, daughter of Robert Knight on 16 January 1900 at Calcutta in India.

William Pemberton Peake. He was born on 21 September 1868 at Tonbridge, and died on 4 January 1952. Col. T.D., M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P.

Margaret Emeline Peake. She was born in 1871 at Tonbridge.

In 1871 the family were living in High Street, Tonbridge, Kent. Charles Richard Peake was a bank manager. By 1891 he had retired and was living at 12 Grange Road, Upper Norwood, Croydon in Surrey with his wife and unmarried younger daughter.

Charles Richard Peake died in 1903 at Croydon in Surrey aged 77 years.
