William Pemberton Peake 1868-1952

William Pemberton Peake was born on 21 September 1868, the son of Charles Richard Peake 1830-1903 and his wife nee Eliza Mary Peck. He was baptised on 26 August 1830 at St. Pancras Old Church in London.

He was entered the medical profession, training at St. Bartholomew's Hospital and qualifying M.R.C.S. and L.R.C.P. He was also a Colonel and T.D.

On 16 April 1890 he married Alice Ambrosine Bucknell, daughter of John Albert Bucknell. She was born on 20 July 1869.

They lived at Keeps, Hillside at Horsham in Sussex, and had the following children:

Lily Peake. She was born on 15 June 1891.
Charles Brinsley Pemberton Peake K.C.M.G., M.C. He was born on 2 January 1897, and died on 10 April 1958.

Their father William Pemberton Peake died on 4 January 1952 at Horsham in Sussex. His wife Alice Peake had predeceased him on 7 November 1949.
