Ann Wilson 1758-1803

Ann Wilson was born in 1758 at Twyford in Derbyshire, the daughter of John Wilson 1720-1789 and his wife née Anne Cocks 1736-1764. She was baptised on 21 May 1758 at Barrow-on-Trent in Derbyshire.

On 24 August 1779 she was married to Ambrose Moore 1791-1873 at Barrow-on-Trent.

They had the following children:

Mary Anne Moore. She was twice married. Her first husband was John Hickson, to whom she was married on 25 November 1806 at Barrow-on-Trent in Derbyshire, and by whom she had a daughter Elizabeth Hickson 1810-1863. He died in 1811. Her second husband was George Wayte, to whom she was married on 27 May 1824 at Barrow-on-Trent.

Eleanor Moore. She was born in 1787, and died on 23 January 1814 at Twyford.

Ambrose Moore. He was born on 6 November 1788, and was baptised on 15 December 1788 at St Mary at Hill church in London. On 5 September 1826 he married Harriet Fox 1806-1881 at Derby (1), and died in 1873.

Their mother Ann Moore nee Wilson died on 5 April 1803 at Twyford aged 45 years, and was buried at Barrow-on-Trent.
