The Near Thing

First published by Everett in 1902 with the title [Life's Web|Life's Web].

A copy inscribed by the author and given to his wife, formerly in the possession of his great-granddaughter Glenda White, was unfortunately destroyed in the devastating Australian bushfires in Victoria in 2009.

The novel was reissued in 1920 by G.H. Robinson and J. Birch in their "Royal Ascot Library" series.

Reissued in 1934.
