Olive Berisford 1853-1924

Olive Berisford was born in 1853 at Hope in Alstonefield parish in Staffordshire, the daughter of George Berisford and his wife nee Elizabeth Edge.

She was married to Isaac Berisford on 27 January 1872 at Alstonefield.

In 1881 they were living in Alstonefield, employed as a farm labourer. When the 1891 Census was taken they were living at Load Lane in Alstonefield. Her husband Isaac Berisford was then working as a surfaceman on the main road.

They had the following children, all born in Alstonefield:

Elizabeth Berisford. She was born in 1872.

George Berisford. He was born in 1874.

Joseph Berisford. He was born in 1876.

Sarah Berisford. She was born in 1880.

Isaac Berisford. He was born in 1888.


Their father Isaac Berisford died in 1897 aged 48 years.
His wife Olive Berisford died in 1924 aged 71 years.
