John Middleton 1703-1726

John Middleton was born in 1703 at Tideswell in Derbyshire, and was baptised there on 11 November 1703. He was the son of James Middleton and his wife Mary (maiden surname unknown). The dates on which they were born and died are unknown.

John Middleton married Mary (maiden surname unknown).

They had one son John Middleton 1727- who was born posthumously.

John Middleton died in 1726 in Wheston, near Tideswell, and was buried on 29 August 1726 at Tideswell.

His wife Mary Middleton afterwards was married to Robert Middleton of Wheston, who may have been her brother-in-law. Robert Middleton was then a widower, his first wife Susanna Middleton having died in 1719.
