Colin Alexander Mcarthur 1857-1932

Colin Alexander McArthur was born in 1857 at Glasgow in Scotland.

He married Elizabeth Watson at Strathaven in Lanarkshire on 30 December 1875. They had the following children:

By 1891 the family had moved from Avondale to New Town in Lesmahagow, Lanarkshire. When the 1901 Census was taken they had moved to Post Office Buildings in Lesmahagow where Colin Alexander McArthur had a draper's shop.

In 1911 they were living at Abbey Green in Lesmahagow.

Colin Alexander McArthur died in 1932 at Rutherglen in Glasgow aged 75 years.
