Robert Middleton was born in 1841 at Tideswell in Derbyshire, the son of John Middleton and his wife nee Elizabeth Collis 1818-1885, and was baptised there on 28 April 1841.
He died in 1848 aged seven years, and was buried at Tideswell on 20 September 1848.
