Martha Middleton was born in 1859 at Tideswell in Derbyshire, the daughter of John Middleton and his wife nee Elizabeth Collis 1818-1885.
In 1861 and 1871 she was living at home with her parents in Tideswell.
She died in Tideswell in 1874 aged only fifteen years.
