Seighford Hall
John Eld was baptised on 6 January 1594/1595 at Seighford in Staffordshire.
He was the son of Richard Eld 1546-1621 of Seighford Hall and his wife nee Margaret Wrottesley.
He married Mary Bill on 15 April 1626 at Castle Church in Stafford.
They had the following children:
Elizabeth Eld. She was baptised on 11 March 1626/1627. She was married to William Peake of Lammascote near Stafford. She died in 1692, and was buried on 14 November 1692.
Mary Eld. She was baptised on 11 July 1630 at Seighford.
Their father John Eld died in 1653, and was buried on 3 December 1653 at Seighford.
His wife Mary Eld nee Bill died in 1655, and was buried on 14 October 1655 at Seighford.
