Lucy Webster 1882-1925

Lucy Webster was born in 1882 at Kniveton in Derbyshire, the daughter of Thomas Webster and his wife nee Harriet Wigley. He was a cattle dealer born in 1852 at Hognaston in Derbyshire, the son of Samuel and Judith Webster.

She was baptised at Kniveton parish church on 4 June 1882.

In 1907 she was married to Arthur Austin. He was born in 1878 at Alstonefield in Staffordshire, the son of Frank Austin and his wife nee Mahala Berisford.

Arthur and Lucy Austin farmed in Alstonefield, and had a son Arthur Austin born there in 1909.

Lucy Austin died in 1925 aged 42 years.
Her husband Arthur Austin died in 1959 aged 82 years.
