Gravestone Of Samuel Berisford 1797-1847

The inscription reads:

"In Memory of
Samuel Beresford
WHO DIED AUGUST 23RD 1857.
AGED 52 YEARS.
-
ALSO GEORGE AND ISAAC
SONS OF THE ABOVE AND ANN HIS WIFE.
GEORGE BERESFORD DIED JANUARY 13TH 1858.
AGED 7 YEARS.
-
ISAAC BERESFORD DIED JANUARY 19TH 1858.
AGED 13 YEARS."

The stone was carved by Thomas Hardy of Tissington in Derbyshire.

The surname is here spelt Beresford, but the family actually used the variant form Berisford.
