George Heathcote was the son of Michael and Elizabeth Heathcote.
He married Lydia (maiden surname unknown) and they had the following children:
Francis Heathcote.
Michael Heathcote. He married Rachel Edensor.
Anthony Heathcote. He had died by 1741 and perhaps died on 7 May 1721. He married Susan (maiden surname unknown)who was granted administration of her husband's effects when he died. She may have died on 12 February 1769.
John Heathcote. He was the owner of the Wet Earth colliery at Clifton in Lancashire, who employed James Brindley to drain his flooded mine. He is said to have heard about the skill of James Brindley while attending the wedding of his nephew Michael Heathcote who married Rachel Edensor.
