Sarah Goodwin was born in 1758, the daughter of Joseph Goodwin 1716-1777 and his wife nee Ann Ferne 1726-1808. She was baptised on 11 June 1758 at Hartington in Derbyshire.
On 8 April 1779 she was married to James Green at Hartington.
He was baptised on 5 January 1746 at Ashford-in-the-Water in Derbyshire, and buried on 12 September 1834.
Sarah Green died in 1846, and was buried on 22 November 1846.
They had a son John Green, who was baptised on 1 September 1780 at Ashford-in-the-Water. He died on 18 May 1786, and was buried at Ashford-in-the-Water.
