Frank Bagshaw Wooddisse was born in 1870 at Alstonefield in Staffordshire, the son of Thomas Wooddisse 1810-1890 and his wife née Anne Leese 1828-1907.

When the Census was taken in 1881 he was living with his parents on the family farm at Hope in Alstonefield parish.

He became a pharmaceutical chemist. When the Census was taken in 1901 he was in business at Bridge Street, Kenilworth in Warwickshire. By 1911 the business had moved to High Street in Kenilworth.

In 1892 he had married Alice Patchitt in Nottinghamshire. She was born in 1865 at New Radford in Nottinghamshire.

They had the following children:

Elizabeth Alice Wooddisse. She was born in 1893 at St Mary's, Nottingham.

Marion Wooddisse. She was born in 1897 at Kenilworth.

Their mother Alice Wooddisse née Patchitt died in 1928 aged 63 years in Warwickshire.

In 1934 Frank Bagshaw Wooddisse married Marjorie Garwood at Doncaster in Yorkshire. She was born on 4 April 1898 at Thurnscoe in Yorkshire, the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Caroline Garwood.

Frank Bagshaw Wooddisse died on 8 October 1960 at Ampleforth in Yorkshire.
Administration of his estate was granted on 22 February 1961 (1).

His widow Marjorie Wooddisse née Garwood died in 1980 aged 82 years at Scarborough in Yorkshire.
